Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect personal data when you create your space or sign in, when you coach on the Club, and when your coach records your sessions.

• Your account: your email address, your first and last name, the language in which you use the website, the date of your sign-up and of your last sign-in, and how you arrived: through the report of a session sent by your coach, through the personal link of a member, with Google, or directly. If you sign in with Google, we receive from Google only your name, your email address and an identifier for your Google account.
• Sign-in codes: when you ask for a code, we keep a fingerprint of it (never the code itself), its expiry time, the number of attempts and the network address from which it was requested, to prevent abuse.
• Coaches: the name shown on the coach card, the clients they add (first name, last name and email address) and the reports they fill in. When the team admits a coach, it may ask for a copy of an identity document; it is encrypted before being stored and read only by the team.
• Sessions of a client: the date, the duration and the type of each session, the muscles worked, the exercises with their sets, repetitions and loads, the effort felt, the word your coach leaves for you, the goals of the next session, and the six qualities your coach scores every four weeks. These figures concern your health: they are recorded only with your agreement, given to your coach, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Why, and on what basis

Your details are used to open your space, to sign you in, to show you your sessions, your reports and your progress, and to write to you about them. The legal basis is the service you ask for when you create your space, and your consent for the health figures your coach records.

The report of a session opens through a personal link that gives access to that report alone. Clicking it to create your account links your account to the space in which your coach has recorded your sessions, and keeps a note of that coach and that session as the source of your sign-up.

We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you.

Who reads your details

You, your coach for the sessions they record with you, and the team of the Club, through a protected administration space. Your details are never sold, rented or shared with advertisers.

Technical service providers process data on our behalf: the hosting provider of the website, the database provider, the email delivery provider and, if you choose it, Google for sign-in. They act on our instructions and may be located outside the United Arab Emirates and the European Union; in that case the transfer is covered by the contractual safeguards these providers offer.

How long we keep them

Your account and your sessions are kept for as long as your space is open, and deleted on request or at the latest twenty-four months after your last sign-in or your last session.

Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes and are deleted within thirty days.

The identity document of a coach is deleted as soon as the admission is declined or withdrawn, and at the latest twenty-four months after our last exchange.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its use or to receive a copy. Write to contact@ceocoachclub.com: we reply within thirty days, and you do not have to give a reason.

These rights are provided by the personal data protection law of the United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, for visitors from the European Union, by the General Data Protection Regulation. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

Cookies

The website sets only the cookies it needs to work. One remembers the language you chose. One keeps your session open once you have signed in, for thirty days if you tick “Remember this device”, otherwise until you close your browser; a second one does the same for the coach space. One is set for fifteen minutes between your code and your name when you first create your space, and one for ten minutes during a Google sign-in. One is set only if you arrive through the personal link of a member: it remembers that reference for thirty days. The website sets no advertising cookie and no third-party audience measurement cookie, which is why no consent banner is shown.

Emails

We write to you only to send your sign-in codes, the reports of your sessions and messages about your space. We send no newsletter.
